As a freshman legislator, the first session at the Capitol can be overwhelming. Determined to make the most of my first session, I spent a considerable amount of time familiarizing myself with the legislative process and focusing on legislation which addressed constituent concerns. I was very excited to be recognized by the Arizona Capitol Times as one of the few freshman lawmakers who was able to successfully pass all my sponsored legislation this session.
