A new study released by the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association found that expanding Yuma Regional Medical Center’s residency program could create up to 539 new jobs and nearly $600 million in economic impact over the course of a decade.
The findings came from a survey of YRMC and hospitals in Sierra Vista and Kingman by Rounds Consulting Group, all hoping to benefit from a bill under consideration in the state Legislature.
